1964-65 Austrian football championship
The 1964-65 Austrian football championship (Staatsliga A) was organized by the ÖFB. The regional leagues East (Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland), Middle (Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia) and West (Salzburg, Tyrol, Vorarlberg) served as second level to the Staatsliga A.

In the 1964/65 season LASK was the first football club not from Vienna who was able to win the Austrian championship (and also the cup).[1] For LASK it was the second national title after the amateur championship in 1931.
