2014 Oso mudslide
On 22 March 2014, a mudslide near the east side of Oso, Washington killed 41 people and injured 4 people. 2 people have been declared missing. The mudslide struck a rural neighborhood. The mudslide covered about a square mile.

The slide covered a 1-square-mile area in a rural community about 55 miles northeast of Seattle.
