Abraham J. Twerski

Abraham Joshua Twerski (Hebrew: אֲבְרָהָם יְהוֹשֻׁע טווערסקיcode: he is deprecated ; (1930-10-06)October 6, 1930 – January 31, 2021) was an American Hasidic rabbi. He was a psychiatrist focusing in substance abuse. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.^[1]

Rabbi Twerski died in Jerusalem on January 31, 2021 of COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Israel, aged 90.^[2]^[3]
