Abyssal fan

Abyssal fans are underwater geological formations formed by turbidity currents. It is also called deep-sea fans, underwater deltas, and submarine fans. They can be several kilometres long to several thousands of kilometres long. The largest abyssal fan is the Bengal Fan.[1]
