Agnieszka
Agnieszka is the Polish equivalent of the forename Agnes. The moniker Agnieszka has its roots in the Greek name Agnes, which translates to "pure" or "chaste." It gained popularity in Poland in the Middle Ages and has remained a common name for Polish girls ever since. In Polish, the name is pronounced as "ahg-NYESH-kah," and it is frequently abbreviated as "Aga" or "Nieszka" for convenience.[1]
