Ahrar al-Sham

Ahrar al-Sham is a jihadist group based in Syria with multiple sub groups to fight against the government of Syria and fight against Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian Civil War.[1] The group's goals is to form a Islamic state based on Sharia law.[2] The group was originally a part of the Syrian Islamic Front from 2013-2016 but later split due to the group becoming defunct.[3]
