Al Rex

Albert Floyd Piccirilli (July 13, 1928 – May 25, 2020), also known by his stage name Al Rex, was an American bass player. He was known for playing with Bill Haley & His Comets.[1] He started playing for them in 1949 and became known for "wild antics" on stage. He was born near Plymouth Township, Pennsylvania.

Rex died at his home in Norristown, Pennsylvania on May 25, 2020 at the age of 91.[2]
