Alan Gilzean

Alan John Gilzean (22 October 1938 – 8 July 2018) was a Scottish professional football player. He was active in the 1960s and 1970s. He played for Dundee and Tottenham Hotspur. He also appeared in 22 international games for Scotland.

His son Ian also became a professional football player.

Gilzean died on 8 July 2018, having been diagnosed with brain cancer a few weeks earlier, aged 79.[2]
