Albany is a city in Alameda County, California. It is on the San Francisco Bay's eastern shore, between Berkeley and El Cerrito. The population was 20,271 at the 2020 census.[5]

Albany, California Media
Albany and much of the East Bay was part of Rancho San Antonio, granted to the Peralta family in 1820.
