Aldridge Bousfield

Aldridge Knight Bousfield (April 5, 1941 – October 4, 2020),[1] known as Pete, was an American mathematician. He was known for his works in Algebraic Topology and for the idea of Bousfield localization. Bousfield was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society,

Bousfield died on October 4, 2020 at the age of 79.[1]
