Alexander Alexeev (conductor)
Alexander Alexeev (Russian: Александр Васильевич Алексеев, tr. Aleksandr Vasil'yevich Alekseyev) (10 March 1938 – 7 October 2020) was a Russian conductor. He was a Honored Artist of the RSFSR.[1] He was Music Director of the Kharkov Philharmonic Orchestra. Alexeev recorded with different orchestras in Russia for the label Melodya, including the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra.[2]
Alexeev died in Saint Petersburg on October 7, 2020 at the age of 82.[3]
