Allendorf, Giessen
Allendorf is a small town in Hesse, Germany. It is in the Giessen district. It is along the small river Lumda. Marburg is to the south and Giessen to the northeast. The town has four parts: Allendorf, Climbach, Nordeck and Winnen. The castle Burg Nordeck is from the 12th century. The part of Allendorf was first mentioned in the 8th century. In 2020, the population was about 4,000.[3]
