Andrey Igorevich Kharitonov (Russian: Андре́й И́горевич Харито́нов; 25 July 1959 – 23 June 2019) was a Soviet and Russian actor, director and screenwriter. He appeared in movies, television and stage. He is known for roles in movies such as The Gadfly (1980), The Invisible Man (1984), The Life of Klim Samgin (1988) and The Devil's Flower (2010).
Kharitonov was born in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR. In January 2019, it was announced that Kharitonov was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He died on 23 June 2019 in Moscow, at the age of 59.[1]
