Area code 954 is a telephone area code in the state of Florida, United States. It covers Broward County, including the cities of Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Pompano Beach. It was created on September 11, 1995 as a split from area code 305, which originally covered all of South Florida, including Miami. It was overlaid by 754 in 2001.
