Arlington Stadium

Arlington Stadium (known as Turnpike Stadium from 1965-1971) was a stadium in Arlington, Texas. From 1972 until 1993, it was a baseball park that was home to the of the Major League Baseball team called the Texas Rangers. The ballpark was the first home of the Rangers after moving from Washigton DC. It closed in 1993, after which the Rangers moved across the street to a Globe Life Park. Arlington Stadium was demolished the same year and is now an empty field.
