Armando Uribe
Armando Uribe Arce (28 October 1933 – 22 January 2020) was a Chilean writer, poet, lawyer and diplomat. He was born in Santiago. He served as Chile's ambassador to the People's Republic of China from 1971 to 1973. He published many works on politics, religion, criminal law and mining. He was a member of the Chilean Academy of Language and the Royal Spanish Academy. Uribe won his country's National Prize for Literature in 2004.[1]
Uribe died on 22 January 2020 in Santiago. He was 86.[2]
