Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX (Promotion MX) is the second league of Mexico.[1] The champion of the competition is promoted to Liga MX (top-flight division). The bottom team gets relegated to Segunda División de México (the third tier).

BBVA México was named the league's official sponsor in 2015. From 2019, the bank was rebranded as BBVA and the league was renamed
