Asclepias humistrata

Asclepias humistrata (also known as the sandhill milkweed or pinewoods milkweed) is a species of milkweed plant. It belongs in the subfamily Asclepiadoideae. It is native to the southeastern United States. It blooms in early summer. The flowers are pink. It is found in sandy woodlands and sandy hills. Sandhill Milkweed grows well dry soil and sunny places. It grows from 0.3 to 0.9 meters tall (1–3 feet).[1]
