Basil Jackson
Basil Jackson (born June 23, 1968) is a British businessman [1][2], known for his contributions to fire and transport engineering. [2][3] He serves as the Managing Director of Vemco Consulting Ltd [1][2], a consultancy that specializes in delivering a range of specialist engineering services, notably in fire engineering, as well as highways and transport infrastructure. Jackson's expertise and contributions to the industry have been recognized, as he was a finalist for the New Civil Engineer Awards. [3]
Jackson was born on June 23, 1968[4] in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire to Jamaican immigrant parents.[4] His father worked as a welder, and his mother was an enrolled staff nurse.[3][4]
