The Battle of Bentonville was a battle which happened during the American Civil War. It was fought from March 19th to March 21st, 1865 in North Carolina. It was one of the last battles of the war. The Confederates lost the battle.

The Harper House, built in the 1850s, served as a Union field hospital during the battle and is located adjacent to the Bentonville Battlefield museum, which offers tours of its interior.
