Career as a player

Born in the Esplugues de Llobregat, Joanet played as goalkeeper for Espanyol, Real Zaragoza, Terrassa, Europa and Deportivo de La Coruña.[1]

Coaching career

He became a football manager after he stopped playing. He was a manager for Hércules, Castellón, Antequerano, Cádiz, Mallorca, Tenerife, Espanyol, Salamanca and Las Palmas.[2]

Death

Joanet died in Alicante on 22 March 2020 from COVID-19, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain.[3]
