In algebra, Binomials are polynomials that contains two terms that are monomials being either added or subtracted together.
Notable binomials
- The difference of two squares is a binomial that contains a squared variable that is being subtracted by another squared variableː [math]\displaystyle{ x^2-y^2 }[/math]. This binomial is also the product of two linear binomials [math]\displaystyle{ a+b }[/math] and [math]\displaystyle{ a-b }[/math].
