Robert Louis "Bob" Burns Jr. (November 24, 1950 – April 3, 2015) was an American drummer. He was in the original line-up of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.[1] Burns was born in Jacksonville, Florida.
Burns died in a single car crash after hitting a mailbox and tree on a sharp curve in Bartow County, Georgia, late at night after a performance on April 3, 2015.[2] He was 64 years old.
