Hedley Brian Taber was an Australian cricketer and wicketkeeper. He played 16 test matches for Australia from 1966 to 1970.[1]
Early Life and Career
Taber was born on 29 April, 1940 in Wagga Wagga and raised in Wollongong. He started playing cricket in 1964 for NSW. He made his test debut for Australia in 1966 and played 16 test matches from 1966 to 1970. He also played for New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield. After his retirement, he went into coaching field and was also a part of the selection committee of South Wales team. He died on 21 July, 2023 in Bayview.[2][3][1]
