Brittany Cartwright

Brittany Nicole Cartwright Cauchi (born January 25, 1989) is an American television personality. She is best known as a former main cast member on the Bravo reality television series Vanderpump Rules and as a main cast member on the spin-offs, Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky and The Valley.

Early life

Brittany Nicole Cartwright was born in Clark County, Kentucky on January 25, 1989,[1] as the youngest of three children[2] to Donald Cecil "Don" Cartwright (born 19 June 1958) and his first wife, Sherri Leigh Cartwright (née Turner; born 28 March 1963).[3] She has an elder brother and sister. Her parents divorced in 1991. She also has two younger half-brothers from her father's second marriage.[2]

Cartwright studied nursing at Eastern Kentucky University, a public university in Richmond.[4]

Career

Cartwright appears in the 2012 music video for "Drinking Side of Country" by Bucky Covington feat. Shooter Jennings.[5]

Cartwright joined cast of the Bravo reality television series Vanderpump Rules as a recurring cast member for the fifth season on November 7, 2016.[6][7] She made guest appearances during the fourth season in 2015.[8] She was upgraded to the main cast from the sixth season on December 4, 2017.[9][10][11] She was fired after the eighth season in 2020.[12][13]

Cartwright appeared on the second spin-off from Vanderpump Rules, Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky.[14][15] The series premiered on August 23, 2017.[16]

Cartwright launched her podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, on March 28, 2023.[17]

Cartwright appeared on the Peacock reality television series Watch With The Cast. The series premiered on April 13, 2023.[18]

Cartwright is the co-owner of Jax's Studio City, which opened in September 2023.[19][20]

Cartwright has served as a main cast member on the fourth spin-off from Vanderpump Rules, The Valley since the debut season.[21][22] The series is set to premiere on March 19, 2024.[23]

Personal life

Cartwright married Jax Taylor at Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky on June 29, 2019.[24] The couple began in a relationship in 2015 and were engaged at Neptune's Net in Malibu, California on June 7, 2018.[25] On September 21, 2020, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child.[26] Their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, was born on April 12, 2021.[27]

Cartwright and her family reside in San Fernando Valley, California.[28]
