Community structure
The comune Buttenwiesen belongs to the region of Augsburg. The community contains the main town Buttenwiesen and the municipality parts Frauenstetten, Lauterbach, Oberthürheim, Pfaffenhofen an der Zusam, Unterthürheim and Wortelstetten.
