Cachexia
Cachexia (/kəˈkɛksiə/[1]) is a syndrome caused by an underlying illness. It causes ongoing muscle loss that is not entirely reversed. It can be caused by cancer, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, kidney disease and AIDS.
