Carlos Clos Gómez

Carlos Clos Gomez is a football referee from Zaragoza, Spain. He is a UEFA class 2 referee as of January 2009.[1]

Clos Gomez refereed a Europa League match between Motherwell F.C. and Steaua Bucharest in which he was criticised by Motherwell manager Jim Gannon.[2]

In 2008, Clos Gomez was forced to abandon a match between Real Betis and Atletico Bilbao after a player was struck by a bottle thrown from the crowd.[3]

On 13th March 2010, FC Barcelona's coach Josep Guardiola accused Clos Gomez of lying on the final report.[4]
