Carlos Contreras (footballer, born 1938)

Carlos Raúl Contreras Guillén (7 October 1938 – 17 April 2020) was a Chilean football defender. He played for Chile in the 1962 FIFA World Cup. He played for the team from 1959 to 1966.[1] He also played for Club Universidad de Chile to 1958 to 1969. He was born in Santiago, Chile.

Contreras Guillaume died in Puente Alto, Chile on 17 April 2020 of Alzheimer's disease-related problems, aged 81.[2]
