Carol Emshwiller

Carol Emshwiller (April 12, 1921 – February 2, 2019) was an American writer. She was known for her avant garde short stories and science fiction novels. She won the Nebula Award and the Philip K. Dick Award. Emshwiller was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her best known novel was The Mount.

Emshwiller died on February 2, 2019 at her daughter's home in Durham, North Carolina, aged 97.[1]
