Carol Speed
Carolyn Ann Stewart (March 14, 1945 – January 14, 2022)[1][2] known as Carol Speed, was an American actress, singer and author.[3] Speed was best known for her roles in movies during the 1970s blaxploitation era.[4] She starred as Abby Williams in the 1974 blaxploitation horror movie Abby.[5] She also played Lulu in The Mack. Speed was born in Bakersfield, California. Her career began in 1969 and she retired in 1989.
Speed died on January 14, 2022 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 76.[6]
