Cetotheriidae

Cetotheriidae is a family of baleen whales.[1] This family was thought to be extinct, but some phylogenetic studies conducted by Fordyce and Marx 2013 reclassified the pygmy right whale as a member of the Cetotheriidae, therefore making it the only surviving species of the cetotheres.[2]
