Chaghcharan
Chaghcharan (Persian: چغچران) also known as Firouzkoh (Persian: فیروزکوه) is a town and the capital of Ghor Province in central Afghanistan. It is located on the southern side of the Hari River.

There are about 15,000 people, mostly Persian speaking. Chaghcharan Airport is about 1 mile to the northeast of the town.
