Chronic disease

(Redirected from Chronic)

In medicine, a chronic disease (also called chronic illness, chronic condition)[1] is one that takes a long time to heal (or go away), or one that is recurrent (comes again). Many chronic diseases need special treatment, as this has to be done for a long time. A chronic disease can even last for a lifetime.
