Conquest is 1937 American romantic drama movie directed by Clarence Brown and Gustav Machatý. It was based on the 1933 novel Pani Walewska by Wacław Gąsiorowski and starring Greta Garbo, Charles Boyer, Reginald Owen, Henry Stephenson, Alan Marshal, C. Henry Gordon, Leif Erickson. It was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and was nominated for 2 Academy Awards in 1938. [1]
