Cotabato City

Cotabato City or Kotawatu, is an independent component city in the province of Maguindanao del Norte and its a regional center of Bangsamoro region predominantly in Muslim religion in Mindanao, Philippines.

Cotabato City is being part of Soccsksargen (XII) region, before the proposal of Bangsamoro (BARMM), formerly known as Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
