Creatonotos gangis

Creatonotos gangis, also known as the Baphomet moth,[1][2] is a species of moth that is usually seen in Western Australia and South East Asia.[3]

Description

The moth has two light brown wings, and a red abdomen with black spots. Males can have four long black coremata at the end of the abdomen, when inflated. [4] The male moths have the coremata so they can attract female moths.[5]
