D. H. Lawrence

David Herbert Lawrence (11 September 1885 – 2 March 1930) was an English writer. He was born in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. He wrote under the pen name D. H. Lawrence. He wrote Sons and Lovers, The Rainbow, Odour of Chrysanthemums, The Virgin and The Gypsy, Women in Love and Lady Chatterley's Lover. He died of tuberculosis in Vence, France.

He also did some poetry and one of his poems was "Last Lesson of the Afternoon."
