Dan Olweus

Dan Olweus (April 18, 1931 – September 2020) was a Swedish-Norwegian[1] psychologist. He was a research professor of psychology at the University of Bergen, Norway. Olweus was known as a pioneer of research on bullying.[2][3][4] He was born in Nässjö, Sweden.

He was elected a member of the Academia Europaea in 1990.[5]

Olweus died in September 2020 at the age of 89.[6]
