Danny McCarthy (footballer)
Daniel John Anthony McCarthy (26 September 1942 – July 2019) was a Welsh professional footballer. He played as a winger. He made seven appearances in the Football League for Cardiff City. He also played for Abergavenny Thursdays and Merthyr Tydfil.

McCarthy was born in Abergavenny. He died in July 2019 at the age of 76.[2][3]
