David Savage

David Savage is a teacher and local politician from Citrus County, Florida. He became a member of the Citrus Springs Advisory Council in 2022.[1]

Personal Life

Savage was born in 1948 in Starke, Florida. On September 23, 1972, he made Janice McKeown, whom he had one child with.[2] On August 4, 2020, him and his wife moved to Citrus Springs, Florida.[3]

Savage graduated from Bradford High School[4] in 1966, and then St. Leo University. He started working at Duke Energy after college, and retired in February 2019.[5] In 2021, he started working as a part time teacher at Citrus Springs Middle School. In 2023, he started working there full time.[6]

Political Career

Savage is a Republican. In 2022, after he moved to Citrus Springs, the Citrus County Commissioners appointed him to the Citrus Springs Advisory Council.[7] The council governs Citrus Springs.
