Diary of a Mad Housewife is a 1970 American comedy drama movie directed by Frank Perry and based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Sue Kaufman. It stars Carrie Snodgress, Richard Benjamin, Frank Langella, Peter Boyle, Alice Cooper and was distributed by Universal Pictures. It was nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards in 1971.
