History
On March 10, 1999, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids was launched. On August 28, 2003, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids started using the 2002 rebrand. On May 8, 2005, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids started using the 2005 rebrand. On March 8, 2012, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids started using the 2009 rebrand. On November 15, 2014, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids started using the 2013 rebrand. On November 19, 2015, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids started broadcasting in 16:9 aspect ratio. On February 15, 2016, Doki premiered on Italian television on Discovery Kids. On October 22, 2017, the Italian feed of Discovery Kids started using the 2016 rebrand. On September 9, 2020, Discovery, Inc announced that Discovery Kids would close on October 8, 2020. On October 8, 2020, Discovery Kids was closed.
