Don Townsend
Donald Edward Townsend (17 September 1930 – 30 July 2020) was an English footballer. He played as a left back in the Football League. He was the father of former Ireland international Andy Townsend.[1] His career lasted from 1953 to 1965. He played for Trowbridge Town, Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace.

Townsend was born in Swindon, England. He died in 30 July 2020, aged 89.[2]
