Ed Gainey

Edward C. "Ed" Gainey (born February 19, 1970) is an American Democratic politician. He is the 61st Mayor of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania since 2022. He is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2013.[1] He was elected mayor in 2021. He lost his re-election primary bid to Corey O'Connor in 2025.
