Edward Kmiec

Edward Urban Kmiec (/ˈkɪmɪk/ KIM-ik (June 4, 1936 – July 11, 2020) was an American Roman Catholic prelate. He was the 13th Roman Catholic Bishop of Buffalo.[1][2][3][4] Kmiec also was an auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Trenton from 1982 until he was promoted to Bishop of Nashville in 1992. He retired in 2005.

Kmiec was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He died on July 11, 2020 at the age of 84.[5]
