Efik language
Efik is primarily in Nigeria, as well as Cameroon. It is a Benue-Congo language and was created in 1812 by Eyo Nsa (Eyo Willy Honesty), making it one of the earliest languages of Nigeria. It became a vital language for commerce due to Efik traders' extensive network. It is mutually intelligible with Ibibio, Anang, and Oro, but it is with varying degrees of understanding.
