Eli Gold
Eli Gold (born December 15, 1953) is a broadcaster best known for calling play-by-play of NASCAR.

He currently calls races for the Motor Racing Network. He also called NASCAR races for CBS and TNN. Gold also called hockey games for the St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, and the Birmingham Bulls. He hosted shows Calling All Sports and Sports Talk with Eli and was sports director at WBRC-TV. Gold is currently the voice of the Alabama Crimson Tide football. He called college football games for the Sports USA Radio Network. Gold also calls National Football League Games for the network. He was the men's basketball play-by-play announcer for the UAB Blazers and the baseball Birmingham Barons. Gold also called Arena Football League games for TNN and NBC.
According to NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace, Gold "is one of the most recognizable voices in NASCAR and in all of sports broadcasting."[1]
