Ermenonville Forest
The Ermenonville Forest (French: Forêt d'Ermenonville) is a forest in Oise, France where a Turkish Airlines Flight 981 crashed into the forest and in the commune of Fontaine-Chaalis with no survivors among 346 people on board. There is a memorial in the forest to the victims of that flight.

In the Bois de Perthe, deciduous trees are much more common than in the main forest unit. Here, an oak forest to the east of the wood, near Montagny-Sainte-Félicité.
