Erzurum
Erzurum is a city in eastern Anatolia, Turkey. It is the capital and largest city in Erzurum Province. The 2000 census showed 361,235 people lived there with a Kurdish minority based on the south side. The number of people increased to 367,250 by 2010.

Sanasarian College was one of the premier Armenian educational institutions in Erzurum on the eve of the First World War. Its faculty was murdered during the 1915 genocide.
